Their ability to learn — fast, deeply, and independently.

1️⃣ Run a Sales Simulation with Prep Materials
🧠 Share:
• A product overview
• Industry jargon
• A buyer persona

🎯 Watch for:
• Who dives deepest into materials
• Who researches beyond your docs
• Who applies knowledge vs. repeats it

2️⃣ Ask: "What will you learn in your first 90 days?"
Top candidates will:
• Name specific gaps
• Share how they’ll close them
• Show structured learning plans

3️⃣ Probe Past Learning, Not Just Past Roles
Ask:
"Tell me how you mastered a new product or industry. What did you do? What was the result?"

Then verify with references.
